Refund policy
What we refund, what we do not, and how to ask. Last updated 28 August 2026.
The short version
If the server has not photographed anything for you in the period you were charged for, write to us within 14 days and we refund that charge in full. We can see whether it has, so you do not have to prove anything.
Once photographs have been generated, that charge is not refundable. A photograph costs us money the second it is made, and that money does not come back to us.
Your statutory right of withdrawal
If you buy as a consumer in the European Union, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you have 14 days from the day the contract is concluded to withdraw from it, without giving a reason.
Access opens as soon as your payment is confirmed, which means performance begins immediately at your request. We do not ask you to waive your withdrawal right, and we do not treat it as waived. If you withdraw within the 14 days after having used the service, we may keep an amount in proportion to what was actually supplied to you before you withdrew, and we refund the rest.
To withdraw, it is enough to write one line to hello@uxgen.ai saying that you withdraw. No form and no reason are required.
If you bought in the course of your business, this statutory right does not apply to you. What is written above under The short version still does — we grant it to everyone.
Renewals
A renewal you did not mean to take is refunded on the same rule: if nothing has been generated in the period the renewal paid for, write to us within 14 days of the charge and we refund it in full and close the subscription.
We do not refund a period you used and then decided against at the end of it. Cancel before the renewal date instead — one click, from your account.
On a yearly plan, the same 14-day rule applies to the yearly charge. After that window, a yearly plan is not refunded pro rata: it is discounted precisely because it is paid up front.
Cancelling is not the same as a refund
When you cancel, the next charge stops and your access stays open until the end of the period you already paid for. You keep everything the server wrote into your project, permanently — cancelling takes nothing back.
The unused part of a period is not refunded by cancelling on its own. If you also want that period back, ask, and the rules above decide it.
When a generation fails
A failed generation is not a refund matter, because you were never billed for it. What the server sets aside for an image is put back on the same balance it came from the moment the call ends without an image. Nothing to ask for, and nothing to chase.
Hitting a rate limit or the daily ceiling is not a refund matter either: no image was made, so nothing was taken from your allowance.
How to ask, and how long it takes
Write to hello@uxgen.ai from the address on your account. Say which charge you mean. You do not need an order number: the address is enough for us to find it.
We answer within three working days. A refund we agree to is sent back to the card that paid, through Stripe; Stripe then takes its own five to ten working days to put it back on your statement, and that part is out of our hands.
If you think a charge is wrong, ask us before opening a dispute with your bank. A dispute freezes the money for weeks and costs us a fee on top; an email is faster for both of us, and we would rather refund you than argue.
