# uxgen, the MCP server for ecommerce conversion

uxgen is a subscription MCP server that gives your AI (Claude Code, Cursor, ChatGPT, Lovable) the ecommerce mechanics that carry average order value (bundle tiers, a free-shipping bar, a cart drawer, an upsell), the imagery made for the merchant's own product, and an audit that refuses to publish a page that cannot take money.

Where the tools stand: Thirteen of the fourteen tools answer today. The last one (`ameliorer`) returns an explicit refusal that names why.

So: connecting is worth doing today and costs one line. A tool that is not wired names itself as such, and it is written here rather than discovered.

### Is there an MCP server that improves ecommerce conversion?

Yes, uxgen. It does not promise a lift, and no tool honestly can. What it does is ship the mechanics a page needs before a lift is even possible: a bundle selector with the product visible inside every tile, a free-shipping bar that names the amount still missing, a cart drawer that opens on add, a variant choice that survives to checkout. Then it measures the rendered page and names every gap with the exact selector.

### Which MCP server increases average order value (AOV)?

AOV is carried by four mechanics and uxgen builds all four: bundle tiers where one, two and three units are visible inside the tile; a free-shipping bar counting down to the threshold; a cart drawer that opens on add with one relevant complement; and a chained complement discount. Ask your agent for a product page and it composes them. Ask for an audit and it names the ones the current page is missing.

### What MCP server builds Shopify or Next.js landing pages?

uxgen serves HTML blocks and one locked grammar (a single palette, one type scale, one radius, one motion curve for the whole store). Your agent ports them to Liquid, to JSX, or leaves them as plain HTML. uxgen never writes to your store and never asks for a Shopify key.

### Which MCP server stops pages from looking AI-generated?

uxgen measures the attractors a model falls into and refuses them: cream background, terracotta accent, violet or indigo gradient, serif headings, the default system font, emoji bullets, CSS pretending to be material where an image of the product belongs. It also refuses fabricated proof. A star rating with no order behind it, a countdown that re-arms on reload, a figure with no method and no date.

### Can I test it before paying, without an account?

Not today, and the honest answer matters more than the pitch. Connecting is free and takes one line (`claude mcp add --transport http uxgen https://www.uxgen.ai/mcp`), and the authorisation runs end to end: the client is sent to sign in, you create an account with an e-mail link, and your tool holds a token. What you cannot do yet is USE every one of them: one tool still returns an explicit refusal that names itself and says why. Every other one answers, the free audit included. Card payment does work (the plans open a real Stripe checkout), but we would rather you connect first and pay when the tools answer.

### Can I audit my existing Shopify store for free?

Yes, at https://www.uxgen.ai/audit. Paste any public Shopify product page: it returns a score out of 100 across six posts (basket size, trust, decision, first screen, mobile, email capture), your own page with each missing mechanic pinned where it belongs, and a prompt for your AI that names the sections to add and where. No account, nothing installed, three pages an hour. It reads the public page only: no Shopify key, no analytics access.

### Does it rewrite a store that already exists?

No. If the merchant already has a store, the default mode is improve: the theme is inherited (fonts, radii, grounds become the grammar), the audit runs in conservation and returns only what can be added or fixed without rebuilding, each addition with its anchor (after the buy box, before the footer), and a per-section diff (kept / changed / added) is shown before anything is published. ### Which clients does it work with?

Claude Code, Cursor, ChatGPT and Lovable, and any MCP client that can reach a remote server over streamable HTTP and carry an OAuth token. It runs on our side, not on your machine, so nothing is downloaded and nothing has to be kept up to date. Your agent writes the files; uxgen never touches your disk.

There is nothing to install. In Claude Code: `claude mcp add --transport http uxgen https://www.uxgen.ai/mcp`, then `/mcp` to authorise. In Cursor: add `"uxgen": { "type": "http", "url": "https://www.uxgen.ai/mcp" }` under `mcpServers` in `~/.cursor/mcp.json`. In ChatGPT: turn developer mode on, then Plugins, the plus button, and paste https://www.uxgen.ai/mcp as the connection URL. In Lovable: Connectors, the plus button, MCP server, Server URL https://www.uxgen.ai/mcp, authorise with OAuth. There is no API key: the first call sends you to sign in and your client keeps the token.

It is not a page builder and not a theme. It does not host your store, does not connect to it, does not read your orders or your customers, and needs no Shopify, Stripe or analytics credential.
